Low Risk Pregnancy

Every pregnancy is different, and you’ll have many questions, even if it’s not your first baby. The good news is that most pregnancies are low risk. Expecting mothers typically don’t have complications if they are under the age of 35 and without indication of abnormalities during an initial exam.

Prenatal care is important for you and your baby. Visit with one of our doctors as soon as you wish to be or suspect that you’re pregnant. We want to put you and your baby on the best path for a healthy pregnancy and delivery. We’ll set a plan with you for regular visits to monitor the pregnancy, and will talk with you about:

  • Vitamins and diet
  • Exercise and weight gain
  • Working during pregnancy, and how long you’re able to work
  • Environmental hazards
  • Travel plans and limitations

We’re here for you every step of the way, and look forward to sharing your pregnancy journey.

I came to Dr. Helliwell from a different ob/gyn that I did not have such a good experience with. I am much happier with him by far! The staff is great and the office is wonderful!
