Dr. Siniva L. Kaneen MD, FACOG

Dr. Siniva Kaneen was born and raised in Southern California. She attended the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine and graduated in June of 2001. Dr. Kaneen completed her post graduate medical training in June of 2005 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA with her specialty in OB/GYN. Dr. Kaneen loves to travel, and has a passion for fitness and cooking.

Dr. Jason Paul Helliwell MD, FACOG, FACS, FAACS

Dr. Jason Paul Helliwell grew up in Thousand Oaks, California graduating from Thousand Oaks High School. He then attended the University of California, San Diego where he earned a B.S. Degree in biochemistry and cell biology. Dr. Helliwell speaks the Spanish language fluently. Enjoying activities such as surfing and hiking, Dr. Helliwell remained at UCSD to obtain his medical degree. Dr. Helliwell specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, performing extensive research and internships, as well as publishing several articles in academic journals pertaining to OB/GYN. Dr. Helliwell has numerous publications in urogynecology and infertility and his interests are in urogynecology, infertility, and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Jason Paul Helliwell’s first two years of residency were at the world-renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Jason Paul Helliwell was able to study under many prominent physicians at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center before  transferring to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he obtained valuable experience for the remaining years of his residency.

After completing residency, Dr. Helliwell practiced with Kaiser Permanente and obtained his board certification in OB/GYN. Dr. Jason Paul Helliwell is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. His wife, Siniva, is also an OB/GYN doctor at Advanced Women’s Health Center. Dr. Jason Paul Helliwell always wanted to start his own private practice where he could provide superior care to his patients. With this goal in mind, he opened Bakersfield’s Advanced Women’s Health Center in 2007.
