Providers Making a Pact for Excellent Healthcare

Advanced Women’s Healthcare center understands the financial strains that can occur when starting a family. Whether you have recently lost a job, or have been unemployed for an extended period of time, worrying about where your next paycheck is coming from can be an overwhelming stress at an exciting time. That’s why we accept Family PACT (Planning, access, care, treatment).

What is Family PACT?

The Family PACT Program is administered by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS). Family PACT offers comprehensive family planning services to low-income women and men. The goals are to promote reproductive health and reduce unplanned pregnancy by removing obstacles that may prevent one from obtaining preventative care and family planning services. This program can also fill in gaps for under-insured and uninsured Californians.

What benefits does Family PACT provide?

All FDA approved forms of contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing with counseling, preconception counseling, male and female sterilization, limited infertility services, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, cancer screening, and HIV screenings.

Who is eligible?

Family PACT clients are female and male residents of California with a family income at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level with no other source of family planning coverage. Additional requirements include having no other source of health care coverage for family planning services, or meet the criteria specified for eligibility with other health coverage. You must also have a medical necessity for family planning services.

How can I apply?

Only enrolled Family PACT providers may determine client eligibility and enroll Family PACT clients in the program. These providers are trained to help fill out the form correctly.

Whether you’re a new patient or established, all of our providers are eligible to see Family PACT patients.
